Question: Could a necromancer hero successfully use [Reapers Mark] on their build?

That's sensible behaviour. You'd advocate them waiting for HB to recharge before doing healing?

I thought all heroes of the same profession had a common AI. Is that not the case?

@Darkspirit;
Purge signet can't really be used in any way effectively imo; need a weapon swap to warrant its use in pve. On the signet bar of yours, yes, agreed, it's nice. That said, I think not using _any_ energy (bar inscriptions) is something of a waste.
[build prof=Me/Mo box name="Mesmer Hero Artificer Build" fas=7+1 dom=5+1 ins=11+1+1 smi=11][Mantra of Inscriptions][Signet of Distraction][Signet of Judgment][Bane Signet][Castigation Signet][Signet of Disenchantment][Purge Signet][Resurrection Signet][/build]
...would probably be more useful with [[Succor], [[Judge's Insight] or [[Strength of Honor] for example.

[Vekk, mah boi!;OgVDM5ycSpMQiiNONXDZAIDQDA]

Basically I have vekk on my Searing Flames team.
The strategy of this build is to use steam to blind enemys, then spike them with shatterstone+ glowing ice combo.
Heroes SHOULD cast Glowing Ice right after Shatter Stone, however instead he casts Mealstrom or Vapor Blade, which totally f***s up his e-management.
Anet needs totally needs to fix this problem, as the solution is extremely simple.

[Healing Ribbon]

WHY do people always put this skill on heroes?

They spam it on recharge ON SINGLE TARGETS WITH NO NEARBY ALLIES even when there's other direct healing spells available and screw their energy over faster than a group of bears attacking through SV....

I confirm [savage slash] is not a skill that heros will use.

I also add that Jora absolute don't want to use [charging strike] or [crippling slash], after i click it for her several times she still ignore the presense of that skill.

Addition:
I put [smiter's boon] on talkhora's smiting build and she won't ever use it. even after i click the first time for her.

Note: i notice that sometime, when you use a new skill on heros, and they don't use it, like the dual attunement ele build. well after "some practice" lol actually i click it for them once, and after that they always remember to put it up. same goes for [healer's boon] on Tahlkora, she did not use that skill half way into vanquishing, i have the hero control open just to see if she use it, then i click it for her, after that, its always up.

I tested [Watchful [email protected]] and the hero dervs don't use it. They always keep [Faithful [email protected]] up but not Watchful. Thank goodness its a 60sec enchantment or else constantly clicking on it would be tedious.

Hmm. Last I tried, my monk heroes were terrible at using [Light of Deliverance] and [Heal Party] - they treat it like a normal single-target heal. And forget about them being able to use [Protective Spirit], because they trigger it once your little red bar hits a certain point, regardless of how it got there.

But it's still tremendously useful to have a hero with [protective spirit] on his bar because it can be a lifesaver in sticky situations. Of course, you have to micro-manage it.

[Soul Twisting]

^last time I tried that on a Rt hero it failed miserably. You'd think it could target a dying spirit(I was thinking it might be able to maintain [union] or [shelter]...) like they would target a minion with [death nova] or [dwana's sorrow], but nope...

[Skull Crack]

^give that to a warrior, derv or assassin and they will slaughter casters with it.

But is it really worthwhile? With 14 divine favor (and not all heroes have 14 divine favor), [divine spirit] lasts only 13 seconds, and has a full 60-second recharge.

I'll have to test it.

Edited to add: Tested it. I guess it makes some sense if you have a Mo/Me hero with [channeling]. Otherwise, if you're doing Mo/E, then even without any points in energy storage, [glyph of lesser energy] works better.

Honestly, if they use it for the first set of spells they cast, as long as they're spamming spells, it doesn't matter, and they get it again later in the fight if they need it on recharge. They don't use it out of combat at least.

i don't know about others, but today my Olias pre-prot'd me with protective spirit! I was engaging HM eles, so it kinda helped.
He also do not cast it on dying minions.

AI update on PS was much needed and VERY appreciated

What should be said here is that it's best to use only one version of AP in a party when playing with heroes. The guys won't stack it.

Tahlkora and Dunkoro (both Hybrid monks) refuse to use [skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill], unless I micro it... That, and the new "fail skills over and over to burn energy" bug makes them almost useless when I need them :S

Ogden's IA is stranger... He's my smitter monk, and he used his build really good, but since I don't know when, he refuses to use [skill]Defender's Zeal[/skill] and [skill]Castigation Signet[/skill], even if he's near-to-zero energy. I can micromanage DZ, but CS is completely ignored almost 100% times I click on it... He needs GolE too, but he uses it, waits it to finish, and cast after :S

P.S.: All of them used to use GolE and/or DZ as first skill when I call a target...
PS2: Yay for my super-english! XD
